A Benedictionary is the world’s first and only Lex sick to dyslexic translation dictionary, with the slogan “everyone can be dyslexic you just need to try harder”. The idea behind A Benedictionary emerged in 2001 with its first incarnation as a dyslexic online translation dictionary. This first version contained just over 1000 words and allowed individuals to translate standard English into dyslexic with the click of a button.A Benedictionary was published in 2011 as a hardback version based on the original, online benedictionary. The publication contains 2544 words, one more word than the world’s first recognised English language dictionary. It also contains several illustrations, an introductory text, and examples of an exam in becoming dyslexic as well as a dyslexic crossword.
The book is published in a signed, limited edition of 100 copies.
